The day-to-day:
- Manage Hourly Maintenance and Utility Classifications
- Develop and Manager Assembly Maintenance Supervisors
- Obtain permits for on-site and building work: City and State.
- Maintain extinguishers and sprinkler systems
- Maintain Security for the facility
- Maintain and manage on-site substation
- Real property: roads, grounds (winter-summer), roofs, fence, sewers, pest control, interior and exterior offices
- Create and provide the facility budget for Wauseon and off-site facilities
- Ensure PMs of the facility are completed
- Back Flow Preventions
- Monitor city water supply or wells
- Maintenance of Cooling Towers, Chiller units, Makeup air flow, heating, and cooling units
- EPA regulations: Storm runoff
- Responsible person for Plant Insurance: escort Insurance carrier
- Plant generator; emergency unit
- Have conceptual ideas for upgrades, projects, and repairs
- Prepare Outside Contractor forms to prepare and discuss with the Skilled Trade Committee
- Identify what is needed and issue the needed POs for purchase
- Research, prepare, and receive quotes for facility projects
- Manage satellite and off-site facilities
We want to talk to you if you have:
- Bachelor's Degree or related experience managing teams of people in a manufacturing environment.
- Good computer including typing and the use of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Working knowledge of Quality procedures
- Ability to pay attention to detail, multi-task, and follow direction
- Ideal candidate will possess at least two years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, preferably in automotive.
- Successful candidates will also possess strong judgment /decision-making skills, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong analytic problem-solving skills
- Able to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
