Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in managing all aspects of the store's operations
- Provide exceptional customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Supervise and train retail staff to ensure they meet sales goals and deliver outstanding service
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Store Manager to ensure adequate stock levels
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new team members
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to retail staff
- Handle cash register operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
Experience:
- Previous experience in a retail management role is required
- Strong knowledge of wireless sales is preferred
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus
- Excellent math skills for cash register operations
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
