Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic, proactive, and detail-oriented Assistant Property Field Manager to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the Property Field Manager to oversee the daily operations and maintenance of our properties. This role requires strong communication skills and a compliance-centric approach to property management. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring that all properties are well-maintained, tenants are satisfied, and operational efficiency is maximized.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with supers, porters, and/or vendors to ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests and property upkeep
- Conduct property inspections, ensuring compliance with safety standards and local regulations
- Coordinate with support staff and 3rd party contractors to ensure all work orders are closed out with signatures and photos
- Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate records of property maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Respond promptly to tenant inquiries, concerns, and requests for maintenance or repairs
- Assisting the Legal Team to resolve cases
- Assist in resolving violations (HPD, DOB, FDNY, etc.)
- Assist in the enforcement of lease terms and community policies
- Support the Property Field Manager in emergency situations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
-General knowledge of local landlord-tenant laws and regulations
- Strong office administration skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
-Proficiency in property management software and MS Office suite
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Understanding of relevant laws governing property management
