Senior Statistical Programmer Analyst | Fully Remote (US) | Full time | Small CRO FSP
We’re working with a small CRO that provides comprehensive drug development services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. The company brings years of experience and deep expertise in the pharmaceutical industry, which translates into high-quality delivery and successful project outcomes, utilising cutting edge technology for collection, analysis and reporting. Their Data Analytics group is seeking an advanced Statistical Programmer to support the production programming and verification for client regulatory submissions and verification.
Responsibilities:
· Execute SAS programming and analytical support tasks independently, including the creation of analysis datasets, statistical analyses, listings, figures, and tables.
· Develop SAS application code autonomously.
· Independently validate SAS programs and their corresponding outputs.
· Conduct migrations and verifications on your own.
· Perform SDTM (Study Data Tabulation Model) and ADaM (Analysis Data Model) mapping independently.
· Produce SDTM and ADaM deliverables.
· Generate all necessary outputs for compiling statistical appendices for Clinical Trial Reports (CTR), Integrated Summaries of Safety (ISS), and Integrated Summaries of Efficacy (ISE).
· Create data files and outputs needed for safety updates, publications, and presentations at meetings.
· Serve as a subject matter expert in specialized areas, such as Project Management, Statistical Computing Environment (SCE), SDTM, ADaM, define.xml, SAS programming, deliverables process, tables, graphics, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD), registries, or other relevant fields.
Requirements:
· A bachelor’s degree in computer science, statistics, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
· A solid foundation in statistics and statistical analysis is advantageous.
· Over 8 years of experience in clinical reporting and statistical programming within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
· High proficiency in SAS/Base, SAS/Macro, and SAS/STAT programming.
· Familiarity with CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM.
· Advanced expertise in SAS-based statistical programming.
· Desirable proficiency in SAS programming across various platforms and operating systems, such as Windows and UNIX.
