ABA Billing Senior Account Manager

We are seeking an ABA Billing Senior Account Manager familiar with various ABA billing systems to join our team either remotely from home or at our offices in Topsfield, MA. The applicant will manage billing for a multi-state ABA practice serving kiddos diagnosed in the autism spectrum.
In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks requiring data analysis, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service . As a senior account manager, your daily duties will include verifying and submitting claims, appealing denied claims, posting payments, managing A/R and corresponding with our clients.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to work independently and possess in-depth knowledge of billing software and medical insurance policies. The ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as communicating with clients and various insurance payors will form a large part of the job.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit ABA billing data and ABA services claims to insurance companies.
Ensure the patient’s medical information is accurate
Prepare patient statement invoices
Monitor and record late payments.
Follow-up on missed payments and resolve financial discrepancies.
Investigate and appeal denied claims.
Maintain billing software by updating rate change, cash spreadsheets, and current collection reports.
End of month reporting
Requirements:
2 years of ABA billing experience is required
Experience with the Oasis and/or PassageHealth system is a plus
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Medical Biller
3rd party billing company experience preferred
Bachelor's degree or CPC preferred
Solid understanding of billing software and electronic medical records.
Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities.
