The Brook of HOUGHTON LAKE/Good Living Kitchens has an excellent opportunity for a part time Culinary Specialist at our independent and assisted living community.
The purpose of this position is to prepare and provide quality home cooked meals to residents in a cost-effective, efficient manner. Cooking experience for large groups is a must!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepares meals and ensures that all food served is done so in a safe and quality manner.
- Keeps the kitchen clean and notifies maintenance department when equipment needs service.
- Assists in serving meals to the residents.
- Responsible for dining room and kitchen clean up after meals.
- Ensures that proper documentation is completed for each resident taking a meal.
- Greets and socializes with residents appropriately to ensure that their dining experience is pleasant.
- Performs all tasks in a manner which is safe and in compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties as requested.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS: DAY SHIFT - 27 - 36 hours per week. Part Time - 7:30a - 5:30p - every other weekend.
