POSITION SUMMARY
The Plant Controller is responsible for planning and coordinating plant budget and business planning activities in alignment with corporate policies and practices.
ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage a team of two
Process and oversee customer accounts
- Cash Application
- Invoicing
- Credit and collections
- Pricing and master data updates
- Customer inquiries
Process and oversee vendor accounts
- Enter vendor invoices – two applications
- Process payments made by corporate office
- Manage Auto pay for three warehouse utility accounts
- Vendor inquires and relationship management
Reporting
- Sales reporting – Weekly and Monthly
- Inventory Reporting
- Material pricing and volume
- Sales tax reporting
Produce monthly financial statement package
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts
- Report on P&L activity
- Manage fixed assets and prepaid schedules
- Bank Reconciliations
- Book recurring and applicable journal entries
Assist with annual audit
Build and Budget for future fiscal years
Work closely with Sales leads and Director of operations on day-to-day requests and projects
Office management tasks as needed
Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Operations Manager.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years related experience required.
- Highly proficient in Excel
- QuickBooks experience required
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and set priorities to meet deadlines on schedule.
- Ability to influence others and work within cross-functional teams to make responsible decisions.
- Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Possess a high tolerance of ambiguity and flexibility with respect to job functions and working hours in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
CPA preferred
Experience in manufacturing a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
