Advanced Conservation Systems, Inc. is a local energy efficiency contracting company with the capability to add solar photovoltaic and solar water heating to help offset the utility bill for homeowners. We have almost 40 years in the energy industry. We are a pioneer in the clean energy space in California, serving thousands of customers.
We have many solutions to offer to our customers. Some of those solutions include, but not limited too, energy efficiency measures such as HVAC and windows, solar electric, solar pool heating, energy storage, and other products.
This allows you to make sales in other areas our competitors do not. We are not a solar company, we are an energy conservation company with the capability to do what any solar company can.
We are growing at a very fast rate. The clean energy sector is currently poised for its fastest expansion in years due to the acceleration of climate change and the implementation of numerous government programs.
We’re looking for a results-driven sales representative to actively seek out and engage customer prospects. You will provide complete and appropriate solutions for every customer in order to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
Internally, we will need to identify two to three sales reps that will be groomed to take on leadership roles with team commission overrides fairly quickly. We are not hiring sales representatives, we are hiring future sales managers.

Responsibilities
- Present, promote, and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Reach out to customer leads through door to door canvasing
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
- Continuously improve through feedback
Skills
- Proven work experience as a sales representative, not required in the solar or energy sector, but a plus
- Database skills, such as CRM, salesforce a plus
- Bi-lingual a plus
- Highly motivated and target driven individual with a proven track record in sales
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
- Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
- Must have valid drivers license and vehicle
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
