Responsibilities:
- Seek out and secure business with clients in our market ( builders, contractors, property managers, restoration companies, designers, etc)
- Maintain deep relationships with clients and understand their challenges and needs.
- Ability to develop and grow a book of new business, and manage existing accounts under your command.
- Present flooring materials with a positive Influence to acquire business.
- Sell flooring products, quote and able to correctly estimate jobs
- Once job is sold, share job responsibilities with internal support team in production
- Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of activities carried out on behalf of assigned clients; change plans as necessary to produce results.
- Meet regularly with management to share the status of accounts and troubleshoot any challenges.
- Travel as needed throughout the Timonium, MD area
Qualifications Required:
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in the field and out of the showroom
- Experience developing, cultivating, and closing opportunities with clients
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and client communication skills
- Attention to details/ Able to measure and estimate jobs appropriately
- 3 or more years of related sales experience in the flooring/ building materials work space (preferred)
- Computer using technology (laptop) and ERP/CRM systems (We use RFMS)
Compensation:
- Salary based on experience with commission opportunity
- Full benefits package (health, dental, vision) available after 90 days of full time employment.
- 401k plan available after 6 months of employment with employer match.
- Tools for successful work are provided ( company cell and laptop)
- We conduct an employment background screen prior to employment.
- Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver's license.
