Overview:
Alera Group Texas is seeking a part-time Executive Assistant to join our Employee Benefits Team!
The Executive Assistant will provide day-to-day support to an Employee Benefit Consultant/Executive.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of tasks including but not limited to:

Administrative Tasks: Manage calendars, schedule meetings with various people, arrange lunch reservations, handle expense reports, IT troubleshooting, and coordinate travel arrangements.

Marketing/Social Media Support: Assist in building/updating marketing materials, create content for LinkedIn/make connections, and assist in writing content for website (articles and blogs).
- Prospect Engagement/Maintenance: Review prospect lists and update/maintain CRM (Salesforce), help prepare prospect presentation materials, review contacts for mailings, and send semi-personalized cards to clients/prospects for birthdays and other occasions.

Communications: Act as a liaison between executives and internal/external stakeholders. Share information, presentations, and updates with other offices as needed.
- Event Coordination: Arrange conferences, speaking engagements, lunch and learns, and networking events. Handle all aspects of event logistics from scheduling to coordination.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5-10+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant

Skillset in marketing and events

Insurance or Employee Benefits industry experience preferred

Strong attention to detail

Organizational Skills

Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
This role will be part-time, 25-28 hours/week. Preference is hybrid in Houston, TX.
