WhiteWater Midstream is seeking a motivated Project Engineer to 1) aid in the engineering, procurement, and execution of residue transmission pipelines, metering and regulation stations and compressor stations and 2) assist with troubleshooting operational issues and managing operations related efficiency and improvement projects.
Minimum 4-year accredited degree in Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
3+ years of industry experience, background in natural gas distribution and transmission work preferred
Ability to manage engineering and design for multiple projects simultaneously
Pipeline design and construction projects involving transmission and distribution of oil and natural gas
Knowledge of common engineering practices and Industrial codes including ANSI B31.3 piping code, ASME Section VIII pressure vessel code and other related codes and standards of ANSI, ASME, ASTM, API, IEC, NACE, NEC and NFPA
Knowledge of rotating equipment, measurement equipment, and piping interconnects in natural gas transmission facilities
Knowledge of Natural Gas Pipeline Engineering and Construction codes and standards
Communicate effectively and take on the required project challenges
Self-motivated worker requiring minimal supervision
Working knowledge of gas piping systems, P&IDs, PFDs, site layout and material take-offs
Experience with MS Office, BRE Promax ®, AutoCAD ®, hydraulic simulation software a plus
Must be willing to travel up to 25% of time to project locations as required
Experience in transmission pipeline systems.
Experience in project management, construction management, or a related field.
Strong technical background in transmission pipelines and metering & regulating stations including a working knowledge of DOT 192 and ASME B31.8.
Project management skills and experience using project management software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
