We are looking to add to our Civil, Structural and Architecture team! As such we are looking for a talented Architect IV, who will be empowered to lead design projects from inception to close out, refining the program, developing schematic design concepts, through to completion of project documents. You will have the freedom to work independently with minimal supervision while being mentored and developed to better your career.
You will report directly into the Director of Structural and Architecture while working along side a multi-disciplined team with access to a diverse range of projects. Such projects can include various building types from schools, low to mid rise buildings, public structures and alike within the private and public section.

Design to client and regulatory requirements.

Manage mid-size projects to schedule and budget within the public and private sector (related to design build/buildings).
- Keep MEC management advised of all quality schedule and budget variances in a timely manner.

Manage and partner with other discipline resources to schedule and budget in line with project needs.
- Drawing review and disposition.
-
Preparing project documents and reports.
-
Maintaining project files.
-
Creating and enforcing project quality plan.
-
Data and document entry into various platforms.
-
Reporting to management and resolving quality issues.
- Prepare contract amendments, change order documentation and claims documentation.

Assist management as directed.
-
Revit & AutoCAD proficiency.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Windows Word and Excel.

Proficiency in rendering software (Sketch Up, Lumion)

A self-starter that can take the project lead and run with it.

9-12 years architecture experience (on the job).
-
Four year technical degree from an ABET accredited institution and post graduate studies.

Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
-
Licensed architect.
-
NCARB obtained.

Proven Project Management experience (independently).
- Experience with public and private sector projects is ideal.

Experience with building design of various types (schools, low to mid rise buildings, and public structures) is required.
