Position Summary:
Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Regional Quality Manager to join our growing team! The Regional Quality Manager (RQM) will be responsible for assisting auditing/reviewing Field Processes, and will report to the Director of Operations. This position will be an individual contributor to the team but will play an integral role in the field team’s success. The ideal candidate will be goal-oriented, highly organized, and forward thinking.

Compensation: Competitive Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Salary Range: $85k-95k
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Amerit’s primary focus in our SCORE (Safety, Customer, Ownership, Recognition, Excellence) value system is Safety. The RQM supports a Safety-first culture by ensuring our technicians have properly equipped vehicles, required tooling, and sufficient training to perform services for our clients. If our workforce has the tooling and training necessary to complete PMs and repairs, then this will a) both reduce the probability of workplace injuries for Amerit employees, and b) ensure our client drivers have a safe and compliant vehicle to complete routes. Vehicle and inventory audits, to be performed by the RQM, will ensure that our technician workforce has the right tools and the right parts to provide high quality services to our client.

Primary focus points for the RQM include:

Performing compliance audits to ensure Amerit vehicles have proper tooling and equipment necessary to complete high quality services for our clients.

Ensuring each Shop has an organized and well-managed parts inventory. Ensure parts inventory is within min/max limits as defined by Director of Operations and Central Procurement, and that purchasing processes are followed. Monitor aging inventory and manage to within prescribed limits.

Auditing quarterly inventory counts performed by Field Management and provide feedback on improvements that can be implemented to Leadership. Ensure quarterly cycle counts are performed on time within the Region. Assisting field managers in adoption and adherence to End of Month process with a specific focus on RO Management.
- Managing claims that occur in dedicated region, ensuring that they are actioned within provided SLAs.

Assisting with onsite Customer Sentiment issues when they arise. Face to face interactions will be required.

Focusing on markets with low technician utilization and assisting with root cause analysis and remediation.
- Assisting with strategic planning of technician utilization resulting in decreased travel time and increased single-station assignment.
- Cross Functional Leadership & Teamwork – quickly establish solid relationships with business unit leadership and other program managers. The ideal candidate builds bridges among all Amerit teams and works seamlessly with Finance, Procurement, and all functions inside and outside of the assigned segment.

Geographic Location & Travel:
The candidate should reside in the Eastern or Central time zone and be near a major airport. The RQM will be expected to travel up to 50% of the time visiting with technicians and Fleet Managers, auditing Amerit vehicles and inventories, and meeting with clients and driver with their Region.
