Position Summary / Career Interest:
Supports Sr. Manager and Strategic System Sourcing Analysts team as a Sr Strategic Sourcing Analyst for the Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing team. The Sr Strategic Sourcing Analyst is responsible for supporting the daily operations related to Strategic Sourcing, assists with training of Strategic Sourcing analyst team members, contract relationship and management of end-to-end processes for the Contract Controls process, including review of renewing and expiring contracts, execution of quotes and new contracts, and management of relationships with suppliers, vendors, departmental stakeholders, capital, and legal contracting associated with each initiative to ensure high-value quality, safety, and financial return to the organization.
Responsibilities:

Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.

Partners with contracting, HITS to PDCA (Plan, Do, Check Act) our policies and processes and align with industry standards.

Responsible for contract utilization and management of initiatives utilizing GPO (Group Purchasing Organization) and aggregate membership,

Supports and partners with Sr. Manager, Strategic Contract team to review local contract process when initiative falls outside of GPO and aggregate membership.

In coordination with Sr. Manager, initiates, and managers MSA work as it relates to contract controls for system

At the direction of the Sr. Manager, takes responsibility for ongoing relationship management with internal and external customers

Works with team to review and manage expiring/renewing contracts for health system. (excluding HITS, real estate, physician contracts, etc. per policy)

Assists with, at the direction of the Sr. Manager, creation and management of all contract negotiation SOW’s and policies

Responsible for supporting the relationship management activity of all internal and external customers

Supports training of internal team members and customers as it relates to Strategic Contract Analyst team members, internal and external customers

Works as a team member to develop and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with quarterly report out to leadership and customers

Partners with contracting team to conduct routine auditing of contract control processes

Partnership with ancillary departments for support of strategic contract planning, review, and negotiations.

Support SHS in contract review, negotiations, and supplier Quarterly Business Reviews

Facilitate supplier Quarterly Business Reviews relative to departmental/service line oversight.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Required:
Juris Doctorate (JD) or Bachelor’s degree
AND
Minimum of five years’ commensurate experience in Supply Chain Contracting
AND
One plus years’ successful experience in managing or leading a large healthcare strategic contracting implementation (GPO, distribution, integration, multi-category corporate overlay)
Preferred:
Juris Doctorate (JD) Master’s degree
OR
Minimum of 7 years commensurate experience in Healthcare Supply Chain Contracting
TUKHS Lean Certification
