Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, manage the front desk, and perform administrative tasks efficiently. The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for greeting patients, answering phone calls, and handling various administrative duties. This is a fast-paced environment where the ability to multitask and work well under pressure is essential.
Duties:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, taking messages, and handling walk-in visitors.
- Perform administrative tasks such as order entry, calendar management, and data entry.
- Maintain accurate records and files, including patient information and medical history.
- Utilize computer literacy to effectively use medical software, including QuickBooks.
- Operate phone systems, including making and receiving calls.
- Provide customer service to patients and visitors, addressing their concerns and needs.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including the front desk and waiting room.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience as a medical receptionist or in a related role preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks.
- Experience with calendar management and phone systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work in a team environment and be flexible with hours.
