Job Description:
The successful Assembly Technician incumbent will have the opportunity to join an international and growing company in the industrial automation and robotics sector. This position is responsible for assembling a specific portion of the company’s product line, based on engineered drawings and other instructions. This position ensures the products are assembled correctly and on time.

Work Schedule: 7 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday; 30-minute unpaid meal break.
Work Location: onsite at our US headquarters in Glenville, NY.
Pay Range: $16 - $22 an hour based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Pulls parts and sorts them out neatly before assembling.
- Follows schematics and diagrams to properly assemble products.
- Assembles products correctly and in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment.
- Ensures equipment is in optimum working order and brings issues to supervisors’ attention.
- Keeps the work area clean and organized.
- Assists in other production areas as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a prolonged period of time during a work shift.

- Frequently moves material and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and around work and project areas with or without assistance.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years’ Assembly Technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
- Well organized, analytical, and detail oriented.
- Strong computer and MS Office skills.
- Self-starter; can work independently and in a team environment.
- Maintains a respectful and professional demeanor when dealing with difficult situations.
- Some experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and building electrical assemblies is preferred.
