Job Summary:
Estimator needed for restoration, residential and commercial remodel projects.
Kelley construction is seeking a personable, driven individual looking to move forward in the construction industry. As an Estimator, the applicant will make sales calls to potential customers and prepare on site estimates, while maintaining relationships with resident owners and/or commercial property managers. Knowledge/experience of estimating, carpentry and Xactimate software will be given preference.
As an Estimator, we are looking for an applicant that can use their personality-based sales abilities as well as their knowledge of our services, which we will provide with our paid training and mentoring program. You will make your presentation to prospective customers during an in-person, on-site sales call.
Applicant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring accurate estimates, adhering to company margins as well as contributing to a safe work environment.
- Preparing estimates and proposals to prospective customers via on-site measuring & evaluations of conditions of property and assisting the owner with large proposals.
- Proactively identifying and contacting potential customers & face-to-face sales calls.
- Maintain a positive relationship with current and future property owners and managers which results in our company being the first and sometimes only call for service or quotes for service.
- Making sales presentations to residential owners and commercial property managers, networking both during work hours and periodically after hours while representing the company at designated industry network groups.
- Maintaining assigned sales quotas and following established company guidelines.
