EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT (EA)
TO THE PRESIDENT AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
JOB SUMMARY: Reporting to the CEO, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta (BBBSMA) is seeking a strategic business partner to the CEO to join the agency at its headquarters located in Atlanta, Georgia. The EA position is a full-time, exempt position.
This person will be a critical asset to the President and CEO, helping drive efficiency across the organization by properly prioritizing his time and attention. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, you will have high visibility and the opportunity to grow your leadership skills over time.
Actively support and assist the President in the conduct of day-to-day operations.
Manage all scheduling and travel logistics for the President.
Prepare and edit correspondence, presentations, reports, and memos.
Complete expense reports and manage correspondence with vendors.
Support the President/CEO in executing priorities, working on and at times leading strategic and priority projects along with engaging with outside funders, partners, advisors, and stakeholders.
Record minutes of all Board and Executive Committee meetings. Schedules new Board Member Orientations.
Lead internal communications, ensuring effective communication between the Board, prospects, the President/CEO, senior leadership, and internal teams, while contributing to our cohesive and positive culture.
Lead stewardship and management efforts to engage prospects, funders, partners, and stakeholders to build strong relationships within the Board and across the organization.
Manage all Board engagements, lead in the preparation of Board materials and presentations, and coordination of meeting logistics.
Manage the flow and exchange of information vital to the Executive office, streamline workflows and interactions, and manage complex and changing priorities.
Use administrative expertise in strategic planning support across executive teams and coordinate with administrative team to balance office operations and functions.
Draft and distribute agency-wide communication, external correspondence, reports, and presentations as requested.
Support CEO at select events and meetings by capturing meeting notes and content for sharing on social media.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration

5+ years of relevant professional experience working with C-Suite leaders, high-level influencers, and donors

Experience in board development, stewardship, and management, with an emphasis on fundraising donor cultivation

Possess strong customer service skills and experience with internal and external parties

Excellent written and verbal communication skills/experience with an emphasis on presentation development

Tech Savvy and understanding of constituent management

Social media savvy

Strong intuition for exercising discretion and confidentiality
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Routine office environment. This position is in our Atlanta office, with a flexible, hybrid work schedule.

Standard BBBSMA office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am 5:30 pm.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position is a primarily sedentary position and frequently requires the use of standard office equipment (telephone, PC, copier, fax, and printer).
- May occasionally require bending, reaching, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Base salary is budgeted between $52,000 - $56,000 based on experience.
