About the Role
Our client is looking for a Logistics Coordinator (SuperPilot) to help them bring AI to supply chains in the world’s largest companies. They are a culture-first organization, and work relentlessly to maintain the culture that they've built.
To support their mission, the successful candidate will be comfortable managing the supply chain of their customers - commodity procurement and logistics management.
They will also expect you to contribute in thought leadership to support product development and the overall company growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all aspects of supply chain and logistics to support customer activity
- Coordinate with customers to ensure efficient and effective delivery of our client's services including, but not limited to:
- Logistics Coordination
- Coordinate and oversee the execution of day-to-day logistics operations
- Collaborate with the customer's procurement team to ensure adequate logistical resources are available to support the scheduled operations.
- Management of logistics exceptions
- Establish and uphold relationships with logistics recipients to ensure efficient and effective management of logistical operations
- Supply Chain Coordination
- Coordinate and oversee the consistent supply and delivery of materials from existing suppliers to customers
- Collaborate with the internal forecasting team to ensure that demand is effectively met for projected business activity, while simultaneously striving to minimize the overall cost of delivery
- Overseeing supplier allocations and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers
- Immerse yourself in the business & company strategy to understand and support their biggest opportunities for growth
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement
- Other duties and special projects as assigned+
Compensation: $26-29 per hour ($77,000-$95,000 annualized, with overtime pay)
Requirements
- 3+ years supply chain/logistics or related experience and/or training
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- Ability to react to dynamic situations and make thoughtful decisions quickly
- Ability to work 12 hours shifts, 7 days a week, rotating day and evening shifts with a week off in between
- Understanding of service-focused operations teams that support a group of customers whose operations are 24/7/365
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (outlook, excel, word) and logistics software
- High level of curiosity and desire to learn
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in supply chain management or related field preferred
