Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Duties:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention plans
- Provide training and supervision to behavior technicians and other staff members
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities, particularly autism spectrum disorder
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals of diverse backgrounds, including parents, caregivers, and other professionals
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to developmental disabilities and behavioral health
- Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation procedures for autism spectrum disorder
- Understanding of special education laws and regulations
