Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative skills and excellent communication abilities to support the smooth operation of our office.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain organized filing systems and databases
- Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Provide clerical support such as typing, copying, and scanning documents
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Assist in managing office supplies inventory
- Support office staff with administrative tasks as needed
Experience:
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills:
- Proficient in phone etiquette and customer service
- Familiarity with computerized systems for data entry and record keeping
- Experience with phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is a plus
- Strong proofreading skills for written correspondence
- Ability to coordinate projects efficiently
- Knowledge of QuickBooks for basic financial tasks
- General clerical and administrative skills
