We currently have an immediate opportunity for a Customer Service Coordinator to join the BAR DIVISION at our ONTARIO, CALIFORNIA location. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
NPI/New Customer Launches
-
Communicate and work with NPI manager to facilitate the completion of a new Customer Start-Up
-
Schedule or attend NPI meetings with customer and team members.

Help keep project, information, and changes aligned and on track.
-
Process customer issued PO’s pertaining to NPI CAPEX, Trial Costs, and launch.
Receiving/Entering Customer Sales Order & Processing
-
Receive, process and update customer orders into JDE system.

Pricing
-
Part numbers
-
Quantities
-
Due dates
-
PO Reference #
-
Item Cross Reference
-
Ship to address.
Follow Through of Sales Order Leading Up to Production
-
Calling out and validating with scheduling team:
-
Work order creation for newly entered/created sales orders.
-
Validating work order start date and quantity align with customer request.
-
Voicing customer requests, issues, or concerns that come up during weekly scheduled OOR meetings/reviews with customer.
-
Call out any changes issued by customer or scheduling due to:
-
Change in demand.
-
Material constraints
-
Line time capacity.
-
MOQ issues or needed approvals.
-
Participate and engage with production and supply chain team during weekly schedule review.
-
Track customer attainment once production startup has started and monitor as it progresses.
Processing & Prep for Shipment
-
Generate and provide waiver requests made by customer, prior to standard release of testing.
-
If necessary or requested.
-
Create dispatches as soon as product is released from micro testing.

Communicating via email to customer, carrier, and warehouse team the necessary shipping detail information.

Once order has been shipped out:

Advance orders for billing
-
Save copy of BOL’s to shared drive.

Provide BOL’s to AR for invoicing.
As necessary, performs other related functions:

Provide updates and necessary communication to internal team during Logistics meeting regarding scheduled shipments.

Case/Pallet configuration and what that equates in bars for KPI tracking.
-
Create Debit or Credit notes requested by finance department.
-
Customer true ups
-
Obsolescence PO’s
-
Lead customer meetings.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Minimum of 2 years experience preferred, preferably in manufacturing environment.
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Skills in data entry with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team and meet deadlines.
