SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
We are looking for a content producer and social media manager to bring content to life, whether that’s through short-form content like 15 second IG Reel/Tiktok, photos, or longer form youtube videos. The ideal candidate will be ultra creative and organized and be able to present content ideas to the team across our various social media platforms, execute on those ideas, manage posting schedules, and track performance. We’re looking for someone who can be innovative and bring forward ideas and best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain a monthly social media posting calendar
- Execute day-to-day management of all social channels, including posting scheduled content 7 days per week, highlights section/ on IG and playlists on TT.
- Create and manage compelling brand content for our various platforms
- Start-to-Finish content creation and production (planning, managing, sourcing, professional quality filming and editing, executing, posting, and engaging)
- Produce video content (long and short form depending on the platform) with coincides with holiday/trend timing as well as evergreen content
- Clearly communicate all timeline and project statuses and posting schedule
- There is currently a focus on TikTok/IG Reels short-form videos but photos and long form content (Youtube) may also be required
- Conceptualize NEW Creative concepts and keep team in the know about best practices in the ever-evolving social media landscape
- Design IG grid posts (1 per day), IG stories (3+ slides per day), and YT Shorts/ TikToks (1-3 per day) + post relevant content on LInkedin, Pinterest, and other relevant social channels that promote our brand, services, digital download, encourage engagement, connect and bring in new audiences, convey our brand.
- Audit IG Highlights, TT Playlists monthly
- Update and audit shopable affiliate links weekly and distribute in newsletter as well as social posts
- Manage the organization of all shared content as well as collecting and properly labelling content from team members, photographers, videographers, etc.
- Creative BTS content during events, interviews, etc.
- Lead brainstorm sessions and organize/act-on ideas from other team members
- Report weekly on fresh content ideas as well as best practices in the field, trends, new platforms, insights, and relevant info.
REQUIREMENTS
- Work in our Hollywood Hills Office as well as some time on-site at events or capturing relevant content which may take place evenings/weekends. Posting/editing/engaging can take place remotely.
- Must have 2 years experience creating content and managing social accounts for personalities / brands.
- Strong experience in content creation and production - especially video editing and strategic posting on behalf of a client
- Extremely Familiar with using all social platforms professionally - not just personally (TikTok, IG, Pinterest, Youtube, etc.) as well as Adobe Suite
- Experience pitching and communicating ideas to a team and managing the entire production process, start to finish.
- Organized, Creative, Adaptable, and self-motivated!
