Job Description:
Western Illinois Dreamers (WID) is looking for a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Co-director for its Illinois Welcoming Center in Peoria, Illinois. WID's Illinois Welcoming Center provides support and resources to immigrants, refugees, and limited English individuals and families. The co-director will connect clients with resources directly and through WID’s non-profit network, create community alliances, and do outreach. Strong writing, and communication skills, as well as oral bilingual abilities in Spanish and English, are required. Basic technology skills are required, and experience with Google Workspace is preferred, but not a requirement. A college degree or other relevant experience or education in social work, anthropology, sociology, languages, public services, or other relevant field is strongly preferred.

Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; Master’s degree preferred (Candidates with higher levels of education may be eligible for higher starting pay)
·Demonstrates strong organizational, time management, problem solving, and conflict-resolution skills
·Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
·Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: From $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
