We are a boutique interior design studio in the Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland seeking a Full-Time Interior Studio Assistant who has a fun attitude, passion for organization, and is social media savvy. Experience with furnishings and interior architecture a plus. This position requires a candidate who is highly organized, attentive to details, self-motivated, flexible, has a can-do attitude, can think on their feet, is efficient, articulate, takes direction, and is able to multi-task.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:
ADMINISTRATION / STUDIO COORDINATION
Support for Principal as required, ie- track deliverables, remind principal of upcoming deadlines, weekly
schedule review, etc.
Assist Principal with administrative aspects of projects including typing up meeting notes & project filing,
and data entry of timesheets.
Monitor and enter appointments into Principal’s calendar and update Studio’s calendars weekly.
Check inquiry emails for Principal
Maintain project binders.
Send initial email to prospects
Administrative tasks for on-boarding new clients
Provide informational packets to schedule initial call and consultation
Prep and send contracts
Contact bookkeeper for consult fee + retainer
Inventory stocking and management including trips to our nearby storage unit
Coordinate Studio events, ie- Xmas party, outings, etc.
Other administrative duties as required
MARKETING + SOCIAL MEDIA
Manage deadlines
Coordinate travel/participation at marketing events. Organize itinerary.
Creating punch lists for marketing, deals/projects-collaborations
Social media management; organic engagement on IG. Posts on LinkedIn
Sending and updating image for PR contact and press
Film social content; coordinate with consultants
Create social content such as reels, carousels, and voice-overs in Instagram
Photoshoot assistance-schedule with client and photographer
Pack and bring items for shoots
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
A minimum of two years of experience in the interior design/architecture field desired.
Bachelor's Degree
Proficiency with software including Instagram, Plannoly or Metricool, Google Drive and Docs, a MAC platform, Canva. Other software a plus or willing to learn: Studio Designer, and Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Extreme attention to detail and the ability to take direction
Must be organized, efficient and enjoy working with a team as well as work independently
Team player with a positive can-do attitude
Flexibility, resourcefulness; dependability
Confidence and assertiveness
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
Must have access to a reliable car, valid driver’s license, and insurance. Mileage is reimbursed.
