About the Position
Catering Screeners play an essential role by inspecting airline catering equipment and vehicles. A catering screener ensures food carts, catering equipment, and catering trucks are secure and in compliance with TSA regulations and airport and airline standard operating procedure requirements.

Essential Job Functions
- Ensure food carts, catering equipment, and catering trucks are secured while in the catering units and while in transit to the aircraft according to TSA and Airline regulations
- Maintain established processes that support airport and airline security processes and regulations
- Inspects airline catering equipment and vehicles for unauthorized items
- Conduct an inspection of food, sealed items, beverages, serving utensils, supplies, liquor and duty-free items
- Ensure compliance with all Company standard operating procedures and policies
- Work in corporation with other team members
- Assist in compiling data for inspection incident statistics
- Document inspection activities on required paperwork for statistical purposes
- Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives
Preferred Education and Desirable Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Prior work experience in a related field; i.e. quality control, auditing, security inspection is a plus
- Valid identification (valid Driver’s License may be required)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to read, legibly write, speak English as necessary for safe and efficient operations
- Must pass a comprehensive background check process in compliance with federal and regulatory guidelines
- Must pass-pre employment drug test
- Ability to work in a 24 hour, 7 day a week shift environment
- Safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and federal, state and local standards
- Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA and federal, state and local standards
