Position Summary:
The Market Leader- Life Sciences position is a customer facing role that will develop and execute the strategic initiatives for the Life Sciences market while working with a cross functional team to maintain and grow that customer base. This role will also be responsible for developing expertise in their market to identify and drive future revenue. The role has responsibilities to identify customer opportunities, develop solutions, quoting/ estimating, and closing the sale.
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute an annual market plan for Life Sciences that drives new revenue within assigned accounts and is aligned with our company strategy.
- Identifying both commercial and technical sales opportunities.
- Be the expert on assigned accounts, market, and processes.
- Strive to increase customer profitability while aligning our value within assigned accounts.
- Leverage technical solution selling process to improve customers system performance.
- Build trust and long-term partnerships within existing accounts.
- Sell Swagelok product/services to exceed targeted revenue growth and sales expectations.
- Influence market team members to execute market plan.
- Act in the best interest of the company and apply sound ethics.
Requirements
Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university.
- 2-4 years’ experience in selling B2B products and services within the medical device, or pharmaceutical markets; industrial products preferred.
- Experience growing breadth and depth of customer relationships at complex accounts.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a broad range of fluid system components and applications highly desirable.
- Engaging top decision-makers
- Growing a territory and existing accounts through referrals
- Creating and implementing an individual sales plan
- Selling a complete line of services
- Familiar with sales processes (Sandler Preferred)
- Familiar with CRM systems (HubSpot Preferred)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
