Position Description
Correctional Health Services (CHS) Information Technology (IT) group supports the IT and operational activities of CHS by providing business analysis, project management, application programming and reporting, vendor relationship management and software support services. Developer, under supervision will analyze, design, program, test, troubleshoot, implement, and maintain software applications, reports, and data based dashboards. Working on multiple assigned projects independently and larger team based projects.
Detailed Task:
· Maintain and troubleshoot software, reports, dashboards, and databases currently in production.
· Analyze business processes, gather requirements and documentation, design/diagram/mockup, program, test, troubleshoot, implement, and maintain software.
· Build reports and data based dashboards for new and established software.
· Design database and all supporting objects to support an application or business use case requiring tracking or reporting of some sort.
· Work on eLearning, computer based training, implement/author content and quiz/test
· Collaborate with other IT teams on various projects
· Generate project status reports and summaries as specified by supervising managers
· Research, learn, and implement technologies as needed for current and future projects
Preferred Skills
· General Knowledge:
o Understanding of application Authentication life cycle
o Competency with Fullstack ASP.NET
o Competency with client side/presentation methods/framework
o A software agnostic understanding of UX/UI design fundamentals, wireframing and other mockup designing
o Plus:
§ Some competency with web design concepts – Client-side page layout e.g.: Flexbox etc., e-Learning and-or gamification concepts,

Minimum Qualifications
1. A Masters Degree or advanced clinical degree from an accredited college or university and two years of experience serving as a lead in soliciting, defining, and managing requirements for internally and externally developed software in a clinical, allied health, non-allied health, behavioral health, information technology, information services, business, analytics or related area; or, one year of experience in a relevant clinical and/or healthcare administration role/function; or
2. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university and five years of experience as described above; or
3. A satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience.
4. Specialty certification(s) issued by a national commercially available program, state, professional society, academic or technical institution in an area(s) listed above, may be credited on a month-to-month basis toward the required work experience for a total of one year.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
