In this pivotal position, you will be critical in executing our commercial real estate office’s financial processes. The Senior Accounting Associate will perform various financial tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting:
● Collaborates with internal teams to gather financial data, track expenses, and support budgeting processes
● Executes and performs day-to-day accounting and financial operations
● Assists in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholders
● Conducts regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
● Prepares and analyzes financial statements, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
● Performs and reviews account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with established policies
Finance:
● Reconciles multiple checking accounts monthly
● Processes payables for the office and multiple real estate projects
● Deposits and enters commissions for transactions in Quickbooks
● Creates reports on preparation of Profit & Loss
● Balances accounts
Qualifications:
● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus
● 3 - 5 years in a fast-paced accounting position
● Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and payroll processes
● Proficient with Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, standard MS suite
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
● Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
● Effective communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
● Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, professional work environment
● Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements

● The Senior Accounting Associate role is location-dependent (Phoenix, AZ)
● The nature of this role necessitates an on-site presence; remote work is not feasible
