Position Title: Remote Processor

Location: Onsite {Millsboro, DE}
Hours: 8:15 am – 5:15 pm unless otherwise noted for part-time staff
Position Summary:
Process deposits and pay out funds in accordance with credit union procedures. Record all transactions accurately and balance each day's operations. Oversee the daily remote deposits for accuracy.
Tasks:
Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide excellent member service in accordance with Tidemark FCU Core Values and Service Initiatives.
- Must be comfortable and proficient in conducting on-camera interactions, such as Zoom calls, to assist and engage with members effectively. This includes demonstrating clear communication skills, maintaining a professional demeanor, and ensuring a seamless virtual service experience.
- Review daily ETM and mobile check deposits for accuracy.
- Review and call other financial institutions for large dollar-deposited items.
- Responsible for accurately conducting all credit and debit transactions in compliance with established credit union policies and procedures including accepting deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, cash on us checks for nonmembers with a fee and run OFAC and processing mail loan payments and deposits.
- Creating Synapsys events for check pulls, checks adjustments, mobile check rejects and assigning them to the appropriate branch/staff.
- Make adjustments to ITC and member’s accounts for deposit corrections by editing or deleting items in ITC and performing a GL adjustment to the member’s account.
- Balance cash transactions and create folder for end-of-day files.
- Responsible for delivery of superior quality service which includes timely, efficient, and accurate completion of transactions; greeting the member; smiling; using the member’s name during the transaction; giving eye contact; give members your undivided attention with no distractions; and thanking each member for his or her business.
- Refer clients to other branch personnel as appropriate.
- Handle proportionate volume of work based on branch demands.
- Maintain a neat and orderly work area and ensure that all negotiable instruments and confidential records are properly secured.
- Observe suspicious behavior and report any such activity to the branch manager as appropriate. In the event of a robbery, remains calm and follows credit union procedures to safeguard members and staff.
- Contributes to a positive and productive environment
- Prepare EOD branch settlement for Remote Processing Department.
- Respond to Synapsys events sent to our department.
- Perform EOD balancing procedures for EOD Summary File and Image Exchange File. This is currently on a designated night, once a week unless otherwise noted and agreed upon between manager and staff member.
- Pulling/filing Daily Mobile Report on designated days as directed by the manager.
- Placing extended holds on large checks or repeat NSF checks and notifying members.
- Community involvement: Paid Volunteer Hours- Each eligible employee is required to have 3 hours within the current Annual Performance Review cycle. These can either be 3 concurrent hours or nonconcurrent. Unpaid Volunteer Hours- As a qualifier for the balance scorecard profit-sharing plan employees will need to complete 3 volunteer hours unpaid per year for the balance scorecard.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to create and maintain a professional environment during video interactions, including appropriate dress and a tidy, distraction-free background.
- Comfortable using Zoom or similar video conferencing tools.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional manner.
- Ability to cross-sell products and services required.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills to include the ability to work and multi-task in Windows based systems
- Aptitude for mathematics.
- Ability to work based on department needs.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Working knowledge of Word and Excel, Ensenta, Document Processing, Xperience, and Image Center.
- Periodic lifting of up to fifty pounds will be occasionally required.
- Bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, and reaching above and below shoulder level may be occasionally required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 6 months of cash handling or retail service experience is required.
- Successful completion of in-house training program.
- Thorough knowledge of Tidemark FCU products and service.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
