Account Sales Rep – Retail Home Centers
The AZEK Company is currently looking for an Account Sales Representative with prior experience in assisting Home Depot or Lowe’s, and who is willing to travel overnight up to 60%.
As our Account Sales Rep you are responsible for supporting the sale of Azek and TimberTech products with retail home centers. You will develop relationships with the retail staff, conduct product knowledge training and provide sales assistance to the ProDesk. You are also responsible for contractor engagement in the company’s loyalty program. Additional duties and responsibilities:
- Builds and establishes relationships at many retail levels, to include retail District Managers, Store Managers and Pro Sales Reps.
- Establishes financial goals and strategic direction that will grow the retail channel within the territory to higher levels of profitability.
- Effectively communicates with and educates Distributor Outside Sales representatives, TimberTech representatives and retail associates on the TimberTech brand to increase sales, including teaching retail associates how to special-order TimberTech product in-person and/or over the phone.
- Continually develops the expanded offering of special orders at the retail level.
- Acts as a liaison for sales and service issues within assigned territory.
We believe the successful candidate will need:
- Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) or Work Equivalent, Field of Study: Business Administration or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar sales position in retail channel; Direct experience with home centers preferred; Proficient knowledge of retail special-order systems.
- Interest in up to 60% overnight travel.
