POSITION SUMMARY.
Piramal Pharma Solutions’ HPAPI Research and Manufacturing facility, located in Riverview, Michigan (Ash Stevens, LLC, hereafter referred to as PPS-Riverview), is seeking a qualified Master Supply Plannerto join our Supply Chain team. The Master Supply Plannerwill be responsible for managing, measuring and controlling the strategic and tactical aspects of S&OP process, directing short-term and long-term capacity and operations planning, and working effectively with all functional groups including Production, Supply Chain, Program Management, Purchasing, Business Development, Finance and Quality teams. The Lead will also perform long term strategic planning to support business growth strategy.

Key responsibilities.
· Benchmark and transfer best practices and procedures across all from different Piramal sites to enable shared growth.
· Drive ideation, partner with Operations Excellence to optimize cost, productivity, and manage projects throughout the plant in all the departments.
· Develop strategic tools, process, and procedures for the planning and optimization in support of the PPS Riverview facility to maximize throughput.
· Drive full utilization of ERP system system capabilities to automate planning activities via automation tools.
· Prepares annual and monthly planning for Demand and Supply for the assigned products within the portfolio based in coordination with Production, Program Management and Site leadership.
· Performing Operations/Planning Analytics using data driven approaches to all budget forecasting and to measure forecast accuracy and effectiveness.
· Using constrained optimization models to improve equipment mapping and functionality while maintaining systems integrity for capacity planning by collaborating with the Purchasing and IT departments.
· Establishes probabilistic models to forecast inventory using Operations Analytics tools and ensure optimization of working capital.
· Providing data-insights and reports into S&OP statistical inventory trends and providing accountability to site teams on performance and impacts.
· Performing Value Stream Mappings, maintain cycle times – value added and non-value added, of the products and update in the system.
· Works in collaboration with Finance, Supply Chain, Production, Program Management, Purchasing, Business Development and Quality functions to meet the business performance objectives. Monitor and track KPIs for the product planning and identify integrative performance improvement Kaizens.
· Drive SQDCP Tiered meetings at the site to improve production readiness over a weekly, monthly and quarterly planning fence and support sites in preparing MIS report every month.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE.
· Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, or other related field from a tier ‘A’ institution or university. Advanced degree preferred in Operations Planning/Research.
· Proficiency and experience in data-driven approaches like – capacity optimization and augmentation, inventory optimization, discrete scheduling, and ability to use it for practical problem-solving.
· Experience in a strategic function; preferably within the chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
· Project Management knowledge/experience.
· High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Python, MATLAB, Open-source automation tools and SAP systems.
