Our client is a category-leading food manufacturer seeking a Senior Foodservice Sales Manager. The candidate can live in ANY major US city. They offer a complete benefit package, salary range of $100K - $120K, a 25% bonus, and car allowance. Job responsibilities:
- Drive financial growth, brand impressions, and trial
- Introduce leading portfolio of brands to foodservice and transform the channel trajectory
- Prospect new accounts and proactively grow book of business
- Pioneer new products and categories in foodservice, defining strategies to grow the business with new and existing customers and channels
- Build a strong rapport and partnership with customers to drive mutual growth
- Influence and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver on customer needs and connect business strategy and execution by using interpersonal strengths
- Manage complex challenges, define strategy, and drive execution to solve challenges
- Manage regional and national chain accounts as well as national broadline distributors
THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in foodservice sales-related experience
- Experience with customer-facing activities
- Existing relationships with mid- to large-chain accounts strongly preferred
- Experience with broadline distributors including Gordon Foodservice, Sysco, Performance Food Group
- Broker management experience with Acxion a big plus
- Demonstrated experience with proactive sales efforts, successfully prospecting and converting accounts
- Knowledge of foodservice data tools including Datassential and NPD Supply Track a big plus
- Foodservice marketing experience (beyond sales) a big plus
- Ability to analyze internal and external data to evaluate performance and determine new opportunities
- Must be able to travel 50%
