MODE is seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic, and results driven Front Desk/Sales Associate to join our elite team of fitness professionals! You will be responsible for all sales job duties, from customer service, to following up with leads and closing sales.
Front Desk/Sales Associate duties and responsibilities include working closely with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our facility/services, and recommend the right solutions. You should be able to provide an unprecedented fitness experience and higher-level of service than anyone else in the industry and promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction. Ultimately, the duties of a sales associate are to achieve excellent customer service, while consistently meeting the Gym’s sales goals.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling club memberships, prospecting new business, and managing membership sales pipeline in our CRM
- Responsible for selling services (Personal Training, Boxing, Cryotherapy, etc.)
- Develop and nurture relationships with prospective members through outreach calls, appointment setting, and club tours.
- Conduct pre-planning activities each month including strategic outreach, for securing member referrals.
- Achieve or exceed individual sales goals, renewals and ancillary service goals
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Build productive trust relationships with customers
- Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store’s design)
- Assess customers needs and provide assistance and information on Gym Memberships, Services, and Amenities.
- Help maintain a positive, clean and inviting environment for members and prospective clients
- Create a culture of excellent customer service and provide effective decision making regarding customer service issues
Qualifications:
- Previous Gym Sales Experience Preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possess a passion for health and fitness and helping others
- Confidence to perform on an incentive based salary
- Enthusiastic, energetic, personable and friendly disposition
- Enjoy and excel working within a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills and practices
- Self Motivated and Hard Working
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong people skills (we are in the business of people, so this is vital)
- Willing and able to work evenings, weekends, and in some cases holidays
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary along with sales commission opportunities for:
- Ancillary Sales (Personal Training, Cryotherapy, Supplements, Body Scans, Group Classes, etc.)
- Complimentary Club membership
