JOB PURPOSE:
The Training Specialist is responsible for facilitating and developing training for the production floor. In addition, managing all training documentation such as certifications and assessments and maintenance of all training matrices.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
· High School Degree or GED or equivalent.
· Microsoft Office proficient
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: (Preferred qualifications, certifications, and/or licenses)
· 1+ year manufacturing experience
· 1+ year of warehouse, shipping, or logistics experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Designing and conducting training programs that will boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with the company’s core values.
· Performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials, and managing all phases of training interventions.
· Manage the training matrix and keep updated on all living documents.
· Participate in and lead training projects and initiatives.
· Collaborating with operators, Management, engineers, EH&S, and other key stakeholders.
· Ensure operations readiness requirements are met with all new hires.
· Respond to Training requests and needs from management.
