Role Profile Overview: We are looking for a seasoned Golf Sales Representative with a strong background in the golf industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience from major golf companies to expand our presence in pro shops, golf retailers, and among professional and amateur golfers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies targeting golf courses, pro shops, and specialty golf retailers
- Utilize existing relationships within the golf industry to introduce and promote our golf sandal line
- Attend golf tournaments, trade shows, and industry events to showcase our products
- Collaborate with product development to refine our sandal offerings based on market feedback
- Train retail staff and golf professionals on the features and benefits of our sandals
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities specific to golf footwear
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Provide insights to marketing for golf-specific promotional materials and campaigns
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts in the golf sector
- Report on sales performance and market opportunities to senior management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field
- 5+ years of sales experience in the golf industry, preferably with major companies
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in golf equipment or apparel
- Deep understanding of the golf market, including trends, key players, and sales channels
- Strong network of contacts within the golf industry
- Excellent knowledge of golf operations, from pro shops to tournaments
Required Skills:
- In-depth understanding of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to build relationships with golf professionals and industry decision-makers
- Proficiency in Customer Resource Management software and sales analytics tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Experience:
- Direct experience selling products to golf professionals and retailers
- Familiarity with sandal market and competitive landscape a plus
- History of successful product launches or category expansions in the golf sector
- Experience in educating and training golf professionals on new products
Key Performance Indicators:
- Sales growth in golf channel year-over-year
- Number of new golf course and pro shop accounts opened

Travel Requirements:
- Extensive travel (up to 50%) to golf courses, retailers, and industry events
