POSITION SUMMARY
The Account Manager is responsible for managing the support team, overseeing all operational aspects and supply chain/distribution processes and serves as the primary point of contact for the corporate client for a group of assigned accounts. The Account Manager leads by example and directs the account team to provide exceptional customer service, achieve goals, reduce operational costs, and increase efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee day-to-day operations while acting as a daily point of contact for the corporate client for assigned programs

Manage the account support team for an assigned group of accounts

Develop working relationships in all directions

Work to achieve client and company goals simultaneously

Function as a liaison between corporate client and internal partners
-
Hire, train, motivate and coach employees, assessing employee performance and providing feedback and training opportunities

Monitor team and client program performances and report on metrics
-
Manage timely and accurate client program set up and ongoing maintenance
-
Manage one-off client sourcing requests
-
Identify and strengthen areas of opportunity within operational processes or system limitations
-
Conduct regular meetings with client, account team, and shared services

Manage and approve expenses
-
Partners with Finance to resolve billing issues

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree and/ or 2+ years of experience in a related role

Proven experience as a team leader in customer service and/or supply chain preferred

Proficient in MS Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
-
Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to multitask/prioritize based on urgency
-
Decision making skills

Knowledge of performance metrics

Review information and make informed decisions quickly and effectively

Ability to travel, as needed
