Front Desk Receptionist
Overview:
Our 15+ year Chiropractic office is looking for a new front desk member to help us do our job better! We are seeking someone dynamic and personable to fill this role. If you have previous chiropractic or physiotherapy experience, that is a bonus. The front desk receptionists responds to inquiries, scheduling and billing for the doctor. This position is ideal for someone looking for a long-term commitment. We are especially looking to find someone who will treat the clinic as their own and is willing to help us make clinic flow and patient care as seamless as possible. It is not ideal for those looking for seasonal employment. We are looking for someone who has open availability to work morning and afternoon shifts. *Pay negotiable according to experience.*
Candidate duties:
● Perform general clerical duties to include, but are not limited to: copying, faxing, scanning, mail merging, mailing, and filing as deemed necessary.
● File and retrieve organizational documents, records, and reports. Create and modify documents, such as reports, memos, and letters, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or other presentation software (i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft CRM, or other programs).
● Coordinates and facilitates new patient and annual forms (i.e. consent to treat, medical records release).
● Manages inbound calls from patients, clients, physicians, practitioners and clinics regarding inquiries about services provided, financial responsibility and insurance coverage.
● Work with financial related matters including handling money, creating care plans, and deal with insurance related tasks.
● Prepares medical records for release, in accordance with policy and procedure.
● Responsible for client insurance verification, problem resolution.
● Posting payments from clients and insurance agencies to electronic databases (accounting sub ledgers) as assigned.
● Run billing reports as required to ensure all claims are being processed and worked.
● Evaluates claims and performs further investigation or follow-up, of documentation (client, billing, etc.) as necessary.
● Works closely with management to develop new processes and systems to reduce costs, increase productivity, and maximize overall agency efficiency.
● Ensure agency compliance with billing and reimbursement rules of various payer sources.
● Utilizes all available resources to obtain and enter insurance coverage information for ordered services into patients file.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week

Experience:
- Microsoft Office: 1 year (Preferred)
- Administrative experience: 1 year (Required)
