The Maintenance Technician will interact with vendors and work as part of a team to ensure residents’ apartments and the community look and operate at the highest level, while maintaining extraordinary customer service to all residents.
$17.00/hr-$19.00/hr
As a Senior Maintenance Technician, your primary responsibilities include:
- Ensures service requests are completed within 24 hours; follows-up with residents to ensure the service request was completed to their satisfaction.
- Assist in overseeing the property’s mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire systems, and reports deficiencies to the Community Manager and Corporate Facilities Director; reports life safety hazards
- Prepare vacant apartments for occupancy; ensure repairs are completed correctly and on
schedule; prioritize units ready for occupancy.
- Knowledge with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and or HVAC skills.
- Complete resident service requests and repairs in a timely manner
- Assists service manager with vendor management and other duties
- Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by Service Manager and or Community Manager.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service to both residents, prospects, and fellow associates.
- Perform preventive maintenance as required.
- Assists in maintaining grounds, common areas, amenities, and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting as needed.
- Maintains and strives for extraordinary customer service to all prospects and residents.
Experience & Skills
- Experience in the high rise, commercial building, and or hospitality industry a plus
- Maintenance Experience: 3+ year (Preferred)
- Minimum High school diploma/GED required
- Strong desire to continue learning.Ability to learn to diagnose and repair routine maintenance
- Competent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 24/7 on-call rotation and weekend hours;
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task with ease and professionalism
