This is a fantastic full-time, remote opportunity. The shift schedule for this position is Friday-Tuesday, 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM Central Time.
Iris Telehealth is searching for a Telemedicine Care Coordinator whose superpower is customer service, and has the EQ to prove it. You’re able to swiftly schedule multiple patients an hour, provide basic technical support, and do so in a way that brightens people’s day. You take our mission personally and relish being on the front lines and getting people the care they need, when they need it. In fact, white-glove service doesn’t even begin to describe what you bring to the table.
The Telemedicine Care Coordinator will be scheduling patients for virtual visits by coordinating with our partner’s various hospital staff. They will gain experience working with psychiatric clinicians and using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems. Specifically, the Telemedicine Care Coordinator will:
Call hospital staff to schedule new and follow-up video appointments/consults
Answer all incoming calls, using hold as needed when multiple calls come in at once
Communicate schedule to the on-call clinician via text message
Maintain scheduling software while making minimal errors
Use a friendly, helpful and welcoming manner on all calls
Demonstrate resourcefulness with planning and implementing the coordination of patient care
Provide basic technical support to hospital staff as needed
Other tasks as needed
We want to make sure all our employees are set up for success from the get-go and that everyone is a great fit for their individual role.
You’ll definitely succeed if you have:

Caroline Burton, Chief Financial Officer
Alli Fair, Chief Operating Officer
Dan Ferris, Chief Strategy & Marketing Officer
Dr. Tom Milam, Chief Medical Officer
