Chervenell Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager professional to join our team. The
Project Manager (PM) is responsible for planning and supervising construction projects from start to finish, including managing the project budget and schedule constraints. The PM is responsible for ensuring the project has all the necessary resources, information, and roadblocks are removed to ensure successful delivery and a satisfied client.
1. The PM initiates the collaborative process with project team members from pre-construction through warranty.
2. Organizes pre-construction meetings with the project team (client, design team, owners’ representative)
3. Participates and demonstrates the ability to lead complex estimating efforts.
4. Oversees the Request for Information (RFI) and submittal process, including weekly follow up.
5. Manages the change order processes
6. Schedules and leads planning meetings
7. Leads Project Review Meetings
8. Manages and reviews project schedule and collaborates with the superintendent
9. Establishes contract value & creates the scope of subcontract agreements to vendors on projects
10. Oversees the subcontracting process through constant and clear communication
11. Coordinates major material purchases and deliveries
12. Creates and manages the project budget, including completing cost projections for approval monthly.
13. Creates the Schedule of Values (SOV) for the project and manages monthly billings to the owner.
14. Codes invoices according to the project budget
15. Ensures Quality Control Checklists and verifications from the field are complete and on file within the Project File.
16. Supports team in project completion and closeout process (punch list, O&Ms, and as-builts)
17. The PM oversees tracking and completion of Warranty items.
18. Reviews project timecards
19. Manages and oversees that PlanGrid & Procore current.
20. Travels to and from job sites, clients, vendors, and offices.
