Executive Administrative Assistant

O.C. Mitchell Jr., Inc. is a family owned and operated Commercial General Contractors serving the Triangle area since 1946. We specialize in high-end products and are dedicated to delivering quality and efficient installations to commercial building projects. We are looking for a highly organized and proactive person to join our team and support our operations.
The Role:
Our Office Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient process of our day-to-day operations. This individual will be responsible for managing daily financial records, maintaining supplies, and supporting our Project Managers in various administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office
- Manage and maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory
- Assist with human resources functions such as onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and email
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information or assistance
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator or similar administrative role, preferably within the construction industry, but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in using various office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of basic human resources practices and procedures is a plus
- Sage 100 Contractor experience is a plus, but not required
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience is required
- Ability to operate office equipment such as copiers, printers, and phone systems
-Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

- High school diploma or equivalent
