BASIC FUNCTION:
The Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless delivery of our software solutions, process enhancements, change management and risk optimization in the first line of responsibility; all while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, employee engagement and driving operational excellence across our delivery teams. The CDO is a strategic leader who can optimize delivery and contribute to the overall growth and success of our Association in delivering business solutions to farmers and ranchers.
As part of the Executive Team, you will work to develop and execute upon the company strategy. As CDO you will realize these strategic goals in a manner that fosters a culture of collaboration and inspires the team to deliver the highest levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
You will develop and implement a comprehensive service delivery strategy that enhances efficiency, quality, and scalability of service delivery processes. Collaborating closely with service delivery operations, sales and account management teams, you will drive initiatives improving customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and process efficiency, while ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds customer expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Manage delivery of the Association’s core business applications with a focus on project and new product delivery for key business partners.
Lead teams to deliver high quality software solutions and process enhancements which include but are not limited to overseeing and optimizing end-to-end service delivery operations.
Drive business case development on strategic initiatives and process improvement and lead work prioritization efforts.
Lead efforts on business risk within the 1st line of responsibility and collaborate with the 2nd and 3rd lines to ensure alignment with the Association’s risk appetite.
Collaborates with the Chief Business Technology Officer to ensure successful delivery of initiatives related to application deployment and enhancement work.
Lead change management efforts in support of our project delivery efforts and other strategic efforts across the Association.
Develop, lead, and implement Association standards and processes as needed to bring value to application development and support services in compliance with the controls of the Association.
Lead complex strategic initiatives by communicating direction, clearly articulating goals, including estimates of resource needs and delivery timelines.
Demonstrate leadership development expertise and build a strategic roadmap for success.
Involved in the recommendation and management of third-party external resources, including vendor management efforts.
Owns and manages a budget.

LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXERCISED AND RECEIVED:
Directly and indirectly supervises staff section, training, coaching, mentoring, and development. Makes independent decisions and is a member of the Executive Team. Interacts extensively with the Board of Directors.
TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required; master’s degree preferred.
Experience: 12 plus years delivering complex service projects.
Experience in leading program and project management initiatives.
Experience in management of various levels of staff including the ability to coach and develop.
Ability to lead a team through transformational efforts.
Exceptional ability to make sound decisions involving varied levels.
Ability to use software and information technology to collect, organize, retrieve, maintain, and disseminate information.
Ability to travel extensively as required.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Employee will be sitting for extended periods of time and accomplishing work at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Some lifting and moving of items up to 50 pounds required. While conducting inspections, must have the ability to walk ½ mile, navigate steep terrain and/or construction sites and safely cross fences. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Other physical activities may include Adjusting, balancing, climbing, connecting, crawling, crouching, digging, feeling, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, operating, pulling pushing reaching reading repetitive motions, standing, stooping, talking, walking, writing, measuring, physical observation, and driving.
FULL-TIME REMOTE: These roles and job functions can be done remotely, while maintaining our strong commitment to customer service and our business goals. Employees are welcome to come to an office to work if needed, and some travel for team meetings will be required.
PAY RANGE
Minimum $325,000.00 - Max $425,000.00 Annual
This range is reflective of the national salary average for this position and will be adjusted using geographic variance for physical location of the hired candidate. American AgCredit may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
