Associate Attorney - Personal Injury
gpac, a 30+ year recruiting company has partnered with a thriving personal injury law firm in the midst of expansion and seeking a motivated and driven Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. As a young associate, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment. We are looking for a candidate who comes from a reputable law school, has 1 to 3 years of experience in litigation (preferably in personal injury), and possesses the ability to handle cases independently. This is a great opportunity for young associates looking for trial experience and wanting to take their career to the next level.
Responsibilities:

Manage a caseload of personal injury matters independently and under the guidance of senior attorneys.

Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the litigation process.

Conduct and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations.

Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and trial preparation.

Provide excellent client service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns.
Requirements:

3+ years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law.

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a reputable law school.

Admission to the State Bar and good standing in the jurisdiction.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative.

Trial experience is preferred but not mandatory.
