Assistant Pre-K Counts Teacher: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Assistant Pre-K Counts Teacher: Monday-Friday - 8:30 AM-5:30 PM
Assistant Pre-K Counts Teacher Responsibilities:

Cultivating and fostering a safe and nurturing environment that will encourage physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of children in the program

Utilizing state and YMCA guidelines to ensure the safety and well being of the children

Provide an enjoyable experience that allows members and participants to feel comfortable in the classroom and at the Y by offering excellent service

Assist the head teacher in observation techniques to record information about children for use in planning curriculum

Interacting with children, team player, knowledge of developmental appropriate practices for a two year old
Assistant Pre-K Counts Teacher Qualifications:

2500 hours (2 years) documented experience working with children

Are at least 18 years of age
-
CDA or 60 post secondary credits (could have an associates degree in any domain)

Can be trained in First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training provided)
