Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist healthcare professionals in providing patient care in various medical settings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform clinical duties, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting physicians during procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Assist with patient education and provide support to individuals and families
Skills:
- Strong anatomy knowledge to assist in medical procedures
- Basic life support skills for emergency situations
- Experience with X-Ray procedures (preferred)
- Familiarity with medical-surgical practices
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks
- Knowledge of geriatric care practices
- Exposure to hospital or operating room (OR) environments
- Exceptional patient service skills
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center (preferred)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- AHA BLS (Required)
