Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial record-keeping, including maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledgers. Duties:
- Perform general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Manage accounts payable processes and ensure timely payments
- Oversee payroll activities and ensure compliance with regulations
- Conduct cash flow analysis to support financial decision-making
- Utilize double-entry bookkeeping principles for accurate record-keeping
- Apply accrual accounting methods to recognize revenue and expenses
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial statements
- Provide technical accounting expertise for complex transactions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience in forecasting, general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable, payroll, and cash flow analysis
- Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, accrual accounting, and balance sheet reconciliation
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
