A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CATH LAB DIRECTOR SIGN ON BONUS OFFERED
Responsible for patient care delivery which promotes safety and well being of patients within the system. Demonstrates sound financial knowledge and management. Facilitates optimal patient appropriate resource utilization. Builds and maintains strategic relationships. Participates and contributes to high performing care and delivery teams. Manages conflict and competing imperatives. Builds customer loyalty among physicians, employees and community. Possesses requisite level of technical and professional knowledge in cardiac cath lab management.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CATH LAB DIRECTOR
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Cath lab technician certification or cath lab nurse training
- BLS, ACLS certification
- 3-5 years clinical / management; Progressive experience in a Cath Lab
- Requires knowledge of Federal and State regulatory agency standards related to health care organizations. Must be flexible with work scheduling.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred
- PALS
