Job Description:
Unique, privately-owned 8-acre rental complex seeking administrative assistant for clerical office support as well as resident relations. Our property consists of over 100 units with approximately 150 residents - many cottage-style duplexes and triplexes, as well as small multi-unit buildings and single-family homes. We offer a more spacious, low-density alternative to the “stacked and packed” design of traditional apartment communities. There are three community pools and lush, garden-like grounds.
Main Responsibilities:
- Keep up with rental housing laws: City of Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, State of California and Federal
- Process rental applications
- Support move-in/move-out process
- Handle communications with residents, prospects & vendors (phone, email & in-person)
- Work closely with Owner, Maintenance Manager, Office Manager and Leasing Agent
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong written & verbal communication
- Residential leasing experience
- Customer relations experience
- Knowledge of rental housing law
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
