Our office is looking for a friendly RDA to join our Ortho team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic dental laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-Ray certification
- Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for dental restorations is a plus
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and interpretation of radiographs
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
